All I can say is WOW!!! The new collections look wonderful - I can't wait to get some of the Passport COllection - it truly looks awesome! Thanks for the peek at today, I can't wait for tomorrow!
I am thrilled beyond belief that you are bringing back the mini mixed alphabet stickers!! Everything looks so yummy and I cannot wait to get my hands on everything
Love that nifty die-cut cardstock! And everything else is so delicious! So throw my hat in the ring and I'll keep my fingers (and toes) crossed that I'll win a a FABULOSO new Slice. Woohoo...!
Colin is still my bestest friend and i so have my fingers crossed on this one, please send me some goodness thisaway
thanks again for keeping us in the show
Wow, thanks for sharing the pictures with those of us who can't make it. The new releases all look great and the Slice looks like one of those must have items.
You guys aren't just making memories, you guys are making history with amazing products. The slice looks amazing and I can't wait until I can get it here in Australia! Well done xx
Wow this is amazing, can't wait to see it IRL. Trust Making Memories to design such a wonderful new product and so totally versatile too. No doubt we will have to wait a bit longer until it reaches UK shores but I can't wait !!!
Uhbelievable, just when I think I can start saving some money as there was no way MM's could top the NOteworthy range, they do it again. Beautiful stuff, cannot wait for any of it. Making Memories should of been names McCains as they've certainly done it again (You'll only get that joke if you guys in the USA have McCains Pizza), If you don't then I apologise for sounding so anal.
wow like every other scrapper i want one! that would be one of each and every new and totally fabulous product put out at this months cha show! oh myyyyy...truly fabulous
oh Wow!!! I have resisted buying the electronic die cutters, but I think that this is going to make me cave. I love that little slice!!! OMG...Noteworthy shaped dies out of the papers I choose!?! I love it!!! smiles...
I can't wait to get a 'Slice' of this action. It looks like an amazing little tool, and I can't wait to see it in real life, I already have a little corner that it would be very happy living in, along with all my other MM products.
Ohhhh! I "designed" one of these in my head several years ago whilste painstakingly cutting something or other out... So glad someone made it a reality! Now, if I could just own one of these my life would be complete...until the next big thing!!!
Love the color of the slice! Also love that we'll be able to customize our own personalized items whose shapes will coordinate with MM collections. The fonts look great, too. But now I'm dying to know more information! How much will it cost? How well can you see where you're cutting? Will we be able to print journaling out on paper, then cut precisely to place the text within a shape? I want to hold one in my hands and play!
Last summer I got the Qk Silhouette for my birthday and said that I'd never want anything more. I am so STUPID. You've completely knocked me out of my socks, I want the Slicer so bad my throat is swelling up, my pulse starts racing and my temperature rising - to new levels of heatwaves. This can not be good for my health. I need the CURE, stat: A SLICER OF MY OWN, please dr MM, pretty please.
I am only curious to see if you will be churning out new designs on memory cards, or if downloads will be possible.
Oh, I know what I want for my Birthday. A slice of cake and a SLICER:-) :-)
What a gizmo! I love that it is small and portable, and that all those cool MM designs are just a thumb away. Thumbs up!
PS My birthday is March 27th, and I turn 17.
PS2: I don't mind waiting for my wish to be fullfilled until the Slicer is ready in June.;-) LOL
oh, and another thing about the SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIOUS Slicer. I live in Europe and we have a different voltage. But with the SLICER you've cut that problem: It can be battery operated. How great is that? Just about to the moon and back - and beyond! Thank you MM! Also a big thank you for posting these glimpses from CHA to all of us that aren't able to go there. Feels like we get a slice of Heaven too.
Greetings from Norway from a devoted fan.
The Slice is AMAZING! One of the most innovative products in a long time....nice to see a fresh idea and something to get excited about. The additions to the Noteworthy range are also gorgeous! I am a fan of the current range and am using it all the time.
Oh! I love that you are posting all this on your blog! I feel like I am there! (Oh. How I wish I was!) Keep the videos coming!
The slice is the most exiting thing since... I discovered scrapbooking! I wish I could touch it! lol
I just watched the video of the Slice in action. It looks very simple to use. I like its compactness and was impressed that when the lady in the video lifted the cut image off the paper, she could just pull it out rather than have to use a special tool to sort of pry it from the paper in spots the blade may have missed. Is that normally what happens? I am very curious about two things: the price (will it be reasonable and what will be the price of future dies) and the color (will it eventually come in something other than blue?
What a great invention and clever name...SLICE! I am an avid follower of Making Memories products and you have done a great job this time! What a great company! My life long dream is to quit my day job and work for a fun company like yours and doing what I love!
Thank you for MAKING new products for our MEMORIES!
this looks really cool, like some others have posted, I too have waited to get any of the die cut machines but this one looks simple to use for my simple brain!!! Can't wait to see it up close and personal.
The slice looks like an awesome tool to take with you to crops. I am so happy to see that you are coming out with more little alphabet stickers and the noteworthy line is beautiful.
I just saw the demo of the Slice and WOW! I have a Xyron Personal Cutting System, that I have been using for a couple of years, and it looks ANCIENT next to The Slice. This has got to be a must have product!!!
All of your products from CHA look awesome! Can't wait until they start shipping! Also looking forward to seeing the Slice in person and trying it out! Making Memories products continue to be up there on my list of must-haves. Thank you for making such versatile lines that I can use for scrapbooking, cardmaking and home dec projects. Hoping that 2008 is your greatest year yet!
My goodness, you guys have really outdone yourselves this time! A whole load of fantasticly great product and such enthusiasm by not only your company in the booth but it appears the customers at the show! Thanks for continuing to bring such great product to the market!
Oh WOW!!! MM has out done themselves with this MUST HAVE product! I can't wait until I can get one! Just think of all the great things you can do with this. I love the fact that you can pack this up for a crop very easily! Way to go MM!!! I LOVE it!
Wow, I love all the new things that you have come out with at CHA. I can see several products that will be on my must have list. Thanks so much for all the great products that you have come out with.
Wow! This looks awesome, and lightweight! There are soooo many awesome products, I can't even begin! I love the 3-drawer storage/paper stand. Thanks for giving us a peek!
If I was only able to by one tool and one paper line during 2008 it would and could only be THE SLICE and the new NOTEWORTHY colour combos. I have to own that 'slice' and I need it NOW!!!!!
WOWsers!!!!!!! All your products are amazing but the Slice seems like it was worth the wait. Hope you are enjoying CHA and all the buzz your company deserves for being such a stand out in this competitive field.
I am PSYCHED! I've been following the Slice for a year now and have not bought an electronic die cutting machine because of it. I am so happy MM bought it and is rolling it out soon. I'll be stalking the web, waiting to get my hands on one!
WOW that is so neat. I love it. I can't wait til it comes out to buy. I am thrilled with the price too. It is so affordable to the average scrapper....Your products are always TOP OF THE LINE. I am never disappointed.
Louise
The slice looks amazing...what a great new technology inspired scrapbooking tool! Would love to have one. The new collections look awesome as well.
Toni
Oh my gosh! I am so excited to see all of these wonderful new products! The Slice looks awesome -- something much more portable than some of the other recent electronic diecut machines! Can't wait to try it out myself!
I love the fact that it is portable but the best part is that I can position it over the paper and cut the part out that I want to cut. That is perfection. You have taken the guess work out of it for me with the wonderful preprogramed dies. My only work is to push a button and decide where on the papers would look the best for the cut. Awesome job on the new tool for us!!! Thank you!
What a fantastic little machine, I have put off buying any cutting device cause they all had something I wasn't happy with, but this little beauty looks just the ticket. Put me down for the draw- could be my lucky day-it is my birthday after all!
Wow! Loving the Slice! So much smaller than the Bug so it can sit out on the counter - and it looks like you don't have to cut your papers down first! What a convenience! I am sold. Can't wait to get one. And the 3-drawer storage center looks amazing as well - gotta have that since I am redecorating my craft room. MM has the most amazing storage options.
I love your new Slice diecutting tool! It seems like it is a good size to bring to crops, and I love the fonts that it has. Very nice machine! I hope I win one!
Everything looks wonderful and how fun!! I can't wait to get my hands on these products!! Hoping I am one of the lucky winners for the SLICE..its AWESOME!!!
Rachel Leshko
I can't afford for making memories to keep bringing out new products! b/c I always want them ALL!! Including the slice. OMG! Blow cricut out of the water!
I WANT THAT SLICE!! I live in the Middle East and have become a scrapper and it is such a challenge to do fun stuff on my layouts! I get to come home every other year, summer 2008 being my year!! I have been researching so many die cut machines as well as all the other stuff and I just love this little machine. It is small enough that it won't kill me to bring back and although the voltage is different, I have heard of transformers!! I think this little guy will be very successful and I WANT THAT SLICE!!! Making Memories, you go now!!!
maybe i'd get more done if i had something like the slice!!! that would surely make my husband happy especially after the hit on our bank account after i buy all your other new products!!! great releases MM!
Oh my goodness! That little thing is awesome! Totally changes my mind about getting a diecut machine! MUST HAVE! You've done it again MakingMemories! :) thanks!
OMG! Love the slide show of the first day at CHA.... I adore all your new releases and am instantly in love with the "Slice". I don't own any other cutting machines so I am such a beginnner in that area but wowsers this lil' gadget is just the BOMB!!!
Wow - you've done it again - come out with another amazing product! Hopefully, one day I can make it to CHA! :) Thank you for such an awesome company! Please pick me :) I love MM! :) Can't wait till this new stuff hits the shelves :)
Everything you guys produce are wonderful! I think you have outdone yourselves. How do you keep it up year after year and after years?????? Incredible, thank you!
Wow, I am always on the lookout for the new and exciting stuff from MM every year and I am never disappointed!!! Can't wait until these babies hit the store!!
I can't wait for the SLICE!!!!!!!!! Finally, a cutting tool that is easy to understand!!!!!!!!!! wOW OWOWOWWWWWWWW I love it!! Looks so intuitive!!! nothing like the bug or the other complicated, learning curve laden cutting tools, so excited!
How exciting it must have been at the CHA show!!..Can't wait to get my hands on the Slice. My scrapbooking sister and I have been talking about this little cutting system for such a long time!!..We are ready to play!!
I love how small and portable this is! I have a very small scrap space and would love a die cutter that wouldn't take up a lot of space. Can't wait to see this in stores.
This looks like an amazing tool. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Hope I win so I'm the first in town to have it. I'll be the most popular girl around. LOL
I have never bought into any of the die cutting machine phenomenon.....
UNTIL NOW!!!!! holy cow... is that slice straight from heaven... you guys have done it again...
just when I think you have done it... you out do... everyone else...
they might as well stop selling the other die cutting machines now because this one rocks...
im saving my money for this!
thanks for letting us peek and getting us all hot and bothered! lol
I already *heart* the Slice!!!! Thank you for making it! Since I go to a lot of crops and retreats, I love how portable it is! MM ROCKS!!!!! Congrats on a great CHA!
Oh, man, I can hardly contain myself. That Slice is FABULOUS! So far I have not purchased a die-cut machine because they all take up so much space it seems, either the machine itself, the cartridges, or both. But THAT SLICE is PERFECT! I love you, MM!!
Through the years MM has always been the leader not only in inovation but in the latest trends. Whenever I have ever been at a SB event I always checked to see if Margie and the rest of the MM team would be there! Everytime I get new product information rest assured that that item will be on my Wish List! Thanks to all for being a mainstay in the industry and for being our FAVORITE company!
I never knew Fun was spelled with two Ms?
This is more than a Slice of fun, this is truely for Making Memories -
if you know what I mean, I am just ranting, my mind is spinning so hard with the thought of this truely inspirational gadget. Is it THE gadget of all times, I wonder. WILL I ever get to try one? And has the complete CHA tossed themselves down in front of you, in total awe and worship? They should!!!
wow everything looks so yummy! but I need the passport collection now (LOL), that would be perfect for the project i'm working on!!!!
I haven't bought an electronic die cut machine, but this i might be interested in, it's cute, small, portable and it had MM's name on it!
Thanks for giving us the peeks!

Wow--I can't wait to try this one out! The Slice looks amazing...portable with a variety of fonts and sizes already loaded in. It does a lot of the things I was hoping another machine I got does but without having to spend big bucks on cartridges and such. At the portability and ability to cut on a variety of products, and you've got my attention :)
Portable, full of fun, chock full of alphas and shapes, and even in pretty robin's egg blue? You had me at portable and full of fun...
Congratulations! Once more I am amazed at your company's cutting edge! I will eat a slice of cake tonight, in honor of the Slice of all times!
The new tool looks amazing... one that I would actually invest in after I have passed up all the other electric die cutters. Can't wait to see the new releases in person!!!!!
Adigital cutting machine that measures less than five inches square and weighs less than two pounds?!! Its iPod-simple interface and easy to read graphics window enables users to select from thousands of high-style images and instantly convert them into die-cuts ranging between ½" and 4" tall??!!
Somoebody pinch me!
wowzers! I love how small and lightweight the slice is, yet it still cuts a fairly big shape too...that's pretty cool! :) LOVED watching the videos...thanks for posting those!!
The slice is awesome and so is Making Memories. Always on the cutting edge with the most wonderful products.
Thanks for all that you do to make creating so much fun for all.
Just have to point out the obvious: THIS IS NOT FOR SCRAPPERS ONLY. A great musthave for paperartist of all kinds, rubberstampers not the least. I can see how fun this would be in cardmaking, and how well it would work along with rubber stamps and pretty papers.
With a Slice of this magnitude, you only need one serving.
Please start taking orders soon. This feels like sitting outside a restaurant, belly all rumbling with hunger, and the restaurant still haven't set up the kitchen yet.... Start cooking, please.
I know I will not ever get picked to win anything by I wanted to say I love your products and that Slice looks great. Having Arthritis in both my hands I continually look for things that make it easier for me to scrap so I can keep up to date.
Thank you for making great products, A big Fan!
The Slice looks awesome. I love that it's sooo compact. And looks like you expanded my favorite line...Noteworthy. Can't wait until this stuff hits the stores!
Is this ever cool or what? Now I don't have to worry about where am I going to put one more tool. This is just the thing for folks like me who have limited space, but are not all that good with a scissors. Thanks! Any idea what this will cost?
I LOVE IT! I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these little creatures! I love all of the noteworthy designs...oh ...who am I kidding? I love ALL of the designs! And Margie is so cute doing the demo! I'd buy anything from her! At last! A die cut machine that REALLY IS portable!
Slice is amazing! Great things come in a small package! This would be wonderful to take to crops, make-n-takes and classes. Another reason to look forward to summer!
This new little cutter looks so cool! and you have OUTDONE yourselves on the fonts and the wonderful shape designs!!!!! They are so cute and I can't wait to see them in person.
The Slice looks great! Simple to use and small. It is so so difficult to tote around all my supplies and tools. This looks like a great fit and I can get rid of some of my other tools. For me the Slice would be great!
Oh, I can't wait to try the Slice! It looks fabulous! And I'm so excited about all of your other new products! I'd better get a part time job to support my habit!
Congratulations on your new Machine, The Slice!! I am a Rubber Art Stamper - so as others have said is that the machines available so far would be a total waste of time and money with the little use they would get. Watching the Demo of the Slice I can see that this has hundreds of possibilities for stampers!!! Congrats. Will be anxious for July when they start being available for purchase. vs
The "Slice" looks so cool, I can't wait to try it out! I'm pretty sure one will have to make its way into my Scrapbook "Toy" collection & I'm pretty sure it will quickly become a favorite! Plus, it looks so stinkin cute!
WOW- the slice looks amazing! so portable and easy to use. cannot wait to see one in person and then I'm sure I'll "need" to buy one. I have been putting off buying one of the bigger ones and now I know why. This seems "just right!"
The "Slice" looks so cool, I can't wait to try it out! I'm pretty sure one will have to make its way into my Scrapbook "Toy" collection & I'm pretty sure it will quickly become a favorite! Plus, it looks

I must have The Slice! Compact, versatile, & affordable - what's better than that??
Posted by: Ron Perry | February 11, 2008 at 04:58 AM
All I can think is "How cool is that!"
Thank you!

I have been researching so many die cut machines as well as all the other stuff and I just love this little machine. I need this like.... yesterday!
So picture perfect for my needs and cravings, and in a color that coordinates so well with my stamp/scrap area.

It's so not fair to release something as great as the slice is going to be and make us wait soooooo long. I can't wait...
Posted by: Sandra | February 11, 2008 at 06:23 AM
Just have to point out the obvious: THIS IS NOT FOR SCRAPPERS ONLY. A great musthave for paperartist of all kinds, rubberstampers not the least. I can see how fun this would be in cardmaking, and how well it would work along with rubber stamps and pretty papers.

You have some really cool stuff coming out. Will the slice eventually have the capabilities to use TT fonts?
Posted by: Heather | February 11, 2008 at 06:27 AM
Can't wait to get my hands on the slice!! Makes me glad I have held off on purchasing a die cutting machine.
Posted by: Kelly | February 11, 2008 at 06:29 AM
With a Slice of this magnitude, you only need one serving.
Please start taking orders soon. This feels like sitting outside a restaurant, belly all rumbling with hunger, and the restaurant still haven't set up the kitchen yet.... Start cooking, please.

Congratulations on your new Machine, The Slice!! I am a Rubber Art Stamper - so as others have said is that the machines available so far would be a total waste of time and money with the little use they would get. Watching the Demo of the Slice I can see that this has hundreds of possibilities for stampers!!! Congrats. Will be anxious for July when they start being available for purchase. vs
