Photoshop Actions
Once you have masters the art of taking photos, you can add some fun effects using Photoshop actions. Maggie Holmes, a Making Memories project designer and talented photographer, created her own set of actions to make the post-process of photography easier.
I gave these actions a try and was very pleased with the results. These actions run quickly without a lot of steps to slow the process down. AND my favorite part about them is that they can be tweaked so each photo looks great.

Also try mixing the actions to create even more effects with your photos. Don't be afraid to mix actions or run one action multiple times.Not all actions work with every photo. Some actions will look very nice on a particular photo not on other depending upon the colors and saturation of the original photo. You definitely have to play with them to find out what look you like.
