Valentines Day Countdown

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite crafting holidays and Making Memories’ new Love Notes line really got me going this year.  I always love the combination of red, pink, and white but the addition of the Kraft papers in this line gave it another dimension for me. 

I decided to make a Valentine countdown for the two weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day.  I utilized a vintage card display rack that I picked up in an antiques mall, but you can just as easily express this idea by stacking items on a table, propping things against small vases and containers, or hanging strips of ribbon on the wall or a mirror and clipping items to the ribbon with small clothespins.  There’s a great deal of room for creative expression here.  Make one for a sweetheart or your children, a dear friend, someone elderly – really, anyone in need of a little love – and who doesn’t need that!
