CONGRATULATIONS TO...
JOEY WHITTAKER. She is the next winner of the MM Idol contest. We are so excited for her. When asked how she felt, she replied "Relieved and excited. I slept off and on last night. I woke up every couple of hours thinking about the competition. At least I don’t feel like I’m going to be sick anymore!" Joey will very quickly be initiated by fire into the MM design team. Gail already have her work cut out for her.

WOW THIS WAS SO EXCITING, FIRST TIME I PARTICIPATE IN MAKING MEMORIES IDOL, IT WAS SO SO AWSOME I WAITED EVERY MONDAY FOR THOSE ENTRIES AND I LOVED THEM ALL EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED WAS A WINNER! What talent we have is incredible, please tell me you'll have another Idol contest soon, I can't wait. Love Making Memories products, this weekend Margie is coming to my town to RubanRouge, Palm Harbor Fl. It was amazing to see all the contestants grow with each challenge. Congratulations to Joey! You deserve it, just as much as every single one of the finalists would have. They ALL did amazing jobs!

I have to give a big shout out of CONGRATULATIONS to Joey - wow - she ROCKED my world with her submissions and I am so happy for her and for all the gals in the competition - I've learned so much more about scrapbooking and how far someone can truly push the envelope on this craft! Have to say I LOVED the home decor projects and all of the creative challenges for the participants - BRAVO to all the contestants and to the staff at Making Memories!

I LOVED Joey's projects. I voted for her a couple of times in the anonymous rounds. Btw, I LOVED the anonymous voting... especially once they were using the same photos, so as to totally throw us voters off!
Gotta mention my awesome friend, Katie, whom I know irl... she did GREAT, making it to the top 15. Love you guys for choosing her for the top 50... love her for being an awesome artist.
Can't wait for the next contest! MM rocks! :D

I like that the last several weeks of this contest the contestants works of art were anonymous. I think this makes the contest more fair to everyone that has entered.

Congratulations, Joey! Enjoy your new title, and the fun challenges ahead. You and the other ladies who were in this competition are such an inspiration.
Making Memories: I enjoyed seeing each person's individual style with their pictures in the beginning (kind of like, "getting to know you") and then liked how you challenged us to vote for our favorite style when each artist became anonymous using the same pictures.

Congrats Joey!!! I absolutely love your last project. Hey MM, when can we see a book highlighting all these fantastic projects that the contestants made. I would love to have that kind of idea book. This was a fun and really exciting contest. All of the contestants had outstanding entries each and every week. It was so hard to pick just one. Let's do it again soon.
